18 years ago, I got the chance to start at the company as an assistant in prefabricating piping. I did this for 3 years, and in the meantime I got the chance to learn welding.

A few years later, after many construction sites and a lot of extra experience, I was asked how I saw my future in the company. I was given the opportunity to prove myself, and to grow into a project manager. I was immediately assigned a very large project at Coca-Cola Ghent. It was fantastic to be able to lead this to a successful conclusion. Recently, I was also asked if I, as an experienced employee, would like to take welding tests from enthusiasts who want to start at Goddeeris. I grabbed that opportunity with both hands.
